Last Updated: January 1, 2026

Introduction

Medzah Foundation (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to maintaining transparency, accountability, and integrity in the acceptance and use of donations. This Donation Policy explains how donations are accepted, processed, used, acknowledged, and managed in support of our charitable mission.

By making a donation to Medzah Foundation, you acknowledge and agree that your contribution will be handled in accordance with this Donation Policy and applicable legal, financial, and organizational requirements.

Our Mission

Medzah Foundation is dedicated to supporting underprivileged children, vulnerable families, educational needs, nutrition initiatives, and community assistance programs. Donations help us advance our charitable initiatives and provide meaningful support to individuals and communities in need.

Acceptance of Donations

Acceptance of any donation, gift, grant, sponsorship, or contribution is at the discretion of Medzah Foundation. We reserve the right to refuse, return, redirect, or decline any donation if it is inconsistent with our mission, values, policies, legal obligations, or operational capacity.

Medzah Foundation will not accept any donation that may:

  • Conflict with our charitable mission or organizational values.
  • Create an unreasonable administrative, legal, financial, or reputational burden.
  • Require us to act outside applicable laws or regulations.
  • Jeopardize the financial security of the donor under reasonable circumstances.
  • Place inappropriate restrictions on the use of funds.
  • Compromise the independence, integrity, or credibility of Medzah Foundation.

Types of Donations We May Accept

Medzah Foundation may accept the following types of donations, subject to review and approval:

  • One-time monetary donations.
  • Recurring donations.
  • Corporate donations or sponsorships.
  • Grants from institutions or partner organizations.
  • In-kind donations, such as goods, supplies, materials, or services.
  • Program-specific contributions, where approved by Medzah Foundation.

Certain non-cash or in-kind donations may require additional review before acceptance to ensure they are useful, safe, appropriate, and aligned with our programs.

Use of Donations

Donations may be used to support Medzah Foundation’s charitable programs, community initiatives, operational needs, outreach efforts, administrative costs, and other activities that help advance our mission.

This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Educational support for children and families.
  • Nutrition and food assistance initiatives.
  • Community support programs.
  • Program materials, supplies, logistics, and coordination.
  • Donor communication, reporting, and administrative operations.
  • Website, technology, payment processing, and outreach expenses.

Restricted Donations

Donors may request that a donation be used for a specific program or purpose. Medzah Foundation will make reasonable efforts to honor approved restrictions where possible.

However, restricted donations must be reviewed and accepted by Medzah Foundation before they are considered binding. If a restricted purpose becomes impractical, unavailable, fully funded, or no longer aligned with organizational needs, Medzah Foundation may use the donation for a similar charitable purpose consistent with our mission, unless otherwise required by law.

Unrestricted Donations

Unless a donation is specifically accepted as restricted in writing, all donations are considered unrestricted. Unrestricted donations allow Medzah Foundation to apply funds where they are most needed to support our charitable mission, programs, operations, and community impact.

Donation Processing

Donations may be processed through approved payment methods, including online donation forms, payment processors, bank transfers, checks, or other authorized channels.

Online donations may be processed by secure third-party payment providers. These providers may collect payment information necessary to complete the transaction and may charge processing fees. Medzah Foundation is not responsible for third-party payment processor policies, delays, fees, errors, or service interruptions.

Donation Receipts and Acknowledgments

Medzah Foundation may provide donation confirmations, acknowledgments, or receipts for donations where applicable. Donors are responsible for providing accurate contact and payment information so that donation records can be processed correctly.

Any donation receipt or acknowledgment provided by Medzah Foundation should be retained by the donor for personal records. Donors should consult their own tax, legal, or financial advisors regarding the deductibility or treatment of any contribution.

Tax Information

Medzah Foundation may be recognized as a charitable or tax-exempt organization where applicable. However, tax treatment of donations may vary based on donor location, donation type, applicable law, and individual circumstances.

Medzah Foundation does not provide tax, legal, financial, or accounting advice. Donors should consult qualified professionals for guidance regarding tax deductibility, reporting, and compliance obligations.

Refund Policy

Donations are generally considered final and non-refundable once processed. However, Medzah Foundation may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

A refund request may be considered if:

  • A donation was made in error.
  • An incorrect amount was entered.
  • A duplicate transaction occurred.
  • An unauthorized transaction is reported.
  • A payment processor error occurred.

Refund requests should be submitted as soon as possible with relevant transaction details. Approved refunds may be subject to payment processor rules, processing timelines, transaction limitations, and administrative review.

Recurring Donations

If recurring donations are available, donors are responsible for managing, updating, or canceling their recurring contribution through the available donation platform or by contacting Medzah Foundation.

Cancellation or modification requests should be submitted before the next scheduled donation date to allow adequate processing time. Medzah Foundation is not responsible for charges processed before a cancellation or update request is completed.

In-Kind Donations

In-kind donations may include goods, supplies, equipment, materials, professional services, or other non-cash contributions. Medzah Foundation reserves the right to review and approve all in-kind donations before acceptance.

In-kind donations may be declined if they are unsuitable, unsafe, expired, damaged, difficult to store, costly to transport, inconsistent with program needs, or otherwise not aligned with our mission.

Donor Privacy

Medzah Foundation respects donor privacy. Donor information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell donor personal information to third parties.

Donor names, testimonials, logos, or contribution details will not be publicly shared unless the donor has provided permission or such disclosure is otherwise required by law.

Corporate Sponsorships and Partnerships

Corporate sponsorships, grants, and partnership contributions may be subject to additional review, written agreements, recognition guidelines, branding approvals, reporting requirements, or program-specific terms.

Acceptance of corporate support does not imply endorsement of any company, product, service, political position, or commercial activity unless expressly stated in writing.

Transparency and Accountability

Medzah Foundation is committed to using donations responsibly and maintaining appropriate records of charitable contributions, expenses, and program activities.

We may provide donors and supporters with updates, reports, impact stories, or campaign information to demonstrate how contributions support our mission. Program outcomes and reporting may vary based on available resources, operational needs, and privacy considerations.

No Goods or Services Guarantee

Unless specifically stated in writing, donations are voluntary charitable contributions and do not create a right to receive goods, services, ownership interest, program control, decision-making authority, or other benefits from Medzah Foundation.

Changes to This Donation Policy

Medzah Foundation may update this Donation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in donation methods, payment processing, programs, legal requirements, or organizational practices.
